Our Foxford-based service is open Monday to Friday and provides a safe environment for individuals with Dementia and those living in rural isolation in County Mayo. What’s more, we offer our transport service, making it easy for your loved one to access our service.

At FACT Social Club, we believe in providing person-centred care that is tailored to each individual’s unique interests and background. Our team of experienced staff are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment that promotes physical and mental well-being. We offer a range of activities that are designed to engage and stimulate, including music, art, and reminiscence therapy.

The Biopsychosocial model of care is an approach that considers the biological, psychological, and social factors that affect a person’s health and well-being. This holistic approach recognizes that health and illness are not just determined by biological factors, but also by psychological and social factors.

By addressing all of these factors, we can provide comprehensive support to individuals living with Dementia. Utilizing the Biopsychosocial model of care, we can improve the overall quality of life for individuals with cognitive impairment by supporting our Club Members and their families, making a positive impact on their well-being and happiness.
